The icon color of a site indicates its rated generating capacity:
Green = one megawatt (mW) or more of rated output (utility scale)
Blue = 250 kilowatts (kW) up to 999 kW
Yellow = 100 to 249 kW
Red = smaller than 100 kW
If you know of a working wind turbine in these sixteen counties that isn’t on the map, please tell me about it. Email me the street address, make and/or model, rated power capacity, when it was installed and any other information you consider important. Send a picture, too! (Or a link if you’d rather post it on your own Flickr page or something).
More and better info about a site that’s already on the map is also welcome, of course.
